Who we are

This website is operated by Fronus Solar Energy, Johar Town, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. For any privacy question or request, email info@fronus.com or call 042-111-111-140.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, phone number, and, if you give them, email address, city and message, plus the topic you select.
• Chat: the messages you type and any images you share with our team, and a random session ID stored in your browser so a conversation survives a page reload.
• Push notifications: if you allow them, a browser push subscription so we can tell you when an agent replies.
• Technical data: your IP address (used to limit abuse of the form and chat), anonymous page-performance measurements, and usage statistics (pages viewed, how you arrived, device and approximate location) collected by Google Analytics.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry, support request or warranty claim.
• To run the website chat, including automated answers and hand-over to a member of our team.
• To keep the website secure and working well.
• To understand, in aggregate, which pages people use so we can improve the site.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

Service providers

We use these providers to run the website. Each processes data only to provide its service to us:

• Vercel: website hosting and anonymous performance measurement.
• Google (Google Analytics 4): website usage statistics.
• Resend and Web3Forms: delivering contact-form messages to our inbox.
• Supabase: storing chat conversations.
• Google (Gemini API): generating automated chat answers from the messages you type.
• Cloudinary: storing images shared in chat.
• Upstash: rate limiting, which processes your IP address.

Some of these providers store data outside Pakistan.

How long we keep it

• Images shared in chat are deleted automatically after 90 days.
• Contact messages and chat transcripts are kept only as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of the support we gave.

Cookies and browser storage

We use Google Analytics, which sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to count visits and tell new visitors from returning ones. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). The site also stores a few items in your browser's local storage so it works as expected: your chat session and its open/closed state, your product-comparison list, and your light or dark theme. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing info@fronus.com. You can turn off push notifications at any time in your browser settings.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
